The village

 The REALLON township is composed in addition to the down hill SKI RESORT, the cross country  SKI RESORT and the town ISLCE CAMPING, of four hamlets :

• "Les Rousses", where you will find a magnificiently renovated (1980) chaple.  In the past Chaple and then school room before resuming relegious activity around 1820.
• "Les Méans", derived from "Méa-n" meaning canal running alongside, where you will find one of the two shrines of the township.
• "Le Chef-Lieu", composed of three groups of dwellings : Les Gleizes, Les Anges and l'Eglise (St Pelade church) where one can admire the ruins of the castle.
• Les Gourniers, merdional door of the Ecrins National Park. A œ hour walk away from the Saint Marcellin chaple.

 REALLON, old  mountain village, respects it's customs and  traditions. Every year, three events are celebrated at the village :

"L'amontagnage" (as the cattle climbs to the high mountain pastures),

 The Bread fair (at the township oven of "des Gourniers"),

 The patronal fair.

 The resort

At REALLON, you ski on a natural balcony hanging above the Serre-Ponçon lake, at the door step of the Ecrins National Park, at the feet of "les Aiguilles de Chabrières" (the Chabrières needles), and taste the pleasures of down hill alpin ski. It's diverse slopes allow every style of ride  (ski, carving, surf, snowscoot, télémark, etc…) to satisfy it's needs. REALLON is a resort where you will meet the mountain in it's purest form.

With a north eastern orientation the  REALLON resort guarantees snow availability and an excellent skiing quality  all season long. The domain is fully equipped with artificial snow from the needles of Chabrières at the top allowing a permanent ride back down to the resort .

At REALLON , the " hands-free " pass, which you can slide into your left pocket allows to access all the gates and lifts without  having to worry about check points and controls which are performed automatically. It is valid several season long and can be reloaded in other French or Foreign resorts equipped with the same system. It also allows you to earn FIDELITY POINTS.
